I’m a Swedish/Iraqi product and furniture designer with bachelor’s degrees in spacious design (Mälardalens college, 2011) and fine arts (Beckmans college of design,2020)
In my work, I focus on creating distinct objects with bold minimalism that borders on my cultural heritage from antiquity Mesopotamia influencing with a contemporary language.
My goal is to shape with the ability to transport us to distant places and evoke emotions and memories at the same time they add comfort and beauty to our life. With carefully designed objects and environments to give character, subtle elegance, and a timeless design.

HISTORY
In the winter of 1997, my family and I settled in Sweden. I was born in Ankawa, just outside the city of Erbil in northern Iraq. My Chaldean roots have lineage back to 5000 BC in ancient Mesopotamia. Growing up in a war-torn country me and my siblings where always creative as kids and where building or drawing things, an Illustrated fantasy world occupied our minds for time being. The creative mindset has always been with me and led me to be who I am today.
